Job summary

Simone's Tutoring in Dubai is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional assessments, counselling, and dietary interventions for children and families. This freelance/contract role offers flexible scheduling and the option to work from home, students' homes, or schools.

This position requires a DHA/DOH/MOHAP licence or eligibility, with a minimum of 2 years clinical dietetic experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences.
• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence or eligibility to obtain.
• Minimum 2 years clinical dietetic experience.
• You must hold or be eligible to obtain the relevant UAE licence before providing services.
• Paediatric nutrition experience or working with families is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dietary assessments and nutritional evaluations.
• Develop personalised meal plans and nutritional strategies.
• Counsel clients on evidence-based dietary approaches.
• Support children with feeding difficulties, food allergies, and restricted diets.
• Provide guidance for families navigating eating disorders and disordered eating.
• Collaborate with paediatricians, OTs, and SLTs on feeding and nutrition.

Role Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian to provide nutritional assessment, counselling, and dietary intervention for children and families in Dubai. You will support clients with a range of nutritional needs including paediatric nutrition, eating disorders, and special dietary requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dietary assessments and nutritional evaluations


• Develop personalised meal plans and nutritional strategies


• Counsel clients on evidence-based dietary approaches


• Support children with feeding difficulties, food allergies, and restricted diets


• Provide advice for families navigating eating disorders and disordered eating


• Collaborate with paediatricians, OTs, and SLTs on feeding and nutrition


• Maintain accurate nutritional records and progress notes

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics or Nutritional Sciences


• Valid DHA, DOH, or MOHAP licence (or eligibility to obtain)


• Minimum 2 years clinical dietetic experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with eating disorders or ARFID


• Sports nutrition or weight management background

UAE Licensing Requirements

This role requires a valid UAE healthcare professional licence issued by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA), Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DOH), or Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP). Applicants must hold, or be eligible to obtain, the relevant licence before providing services. Licensing requirements must comply with UAE regulations.
