Job summary

Accor in Abu Dhabi is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Steward to support daily operations at the Heartists Cafeteria. You will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation across all kitchen and service areas, including equipment, floors, and workstations.

The role requires a physically fit, reliable individual with knowledge of HACCP and kitchen hygiene. You will work with the culinary team, handling cleaning chemicals safely and maintaining organized dishwashing and storage areas

Qualifications

• Experience as Kitchen Steward or Dishwasher preferred.
• Basic knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP.
• Able to handle cleaning chemicals safely.
• Physically fit to work in fast-paced environment.
• Good teamwork, communication, and time management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, floors, and workstations.
• Wash and sanitize kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, and cutlery.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
• Ensure proper waste disposal and maintain clean waste storage areas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dishwashing and storage areas.
• Support the culinary team by ensuring clean equipment and utensils are available during service.
• Report maintenance issues and hygiene concerns to the supervisor.
