Job summary

Rixos Premium Dubai JBR in Dubai is seeking an enthusiastic Kids Club Attendant to create a safe, welcoming environment for children while upholding high service and safety standards.

You will work closely with the Entertainment Manager to deliver engaging activities, maintain inventory, and ensure a clean, hygienic club area for young guests and their families.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, childcare, or related field.
• Fresher or minimum 1 year of experience in a hospitality environment, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel or resort setting.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment).
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and security clearance.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with children, parents, and team members.
• Physical stamina and ability to remain active throughout shifts while supervising children.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and emotional intelligence when working with diverse age groups.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and professionally.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and willingness to support team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Manager of Entertainment and Kids Club Supervisor to establish and maintain a secure, clean, and age-appropriate environment for all children attending the club.
• Greet parents and children with warmth and professionalism, ensuring all registration forms are completed accurately with comprehensive child history information.
• Organize and maintain a detailed inventory of all toys, games, and equipment, promptly reporting any maintenance needs or replacement requirements.
• Inspect all equipment and facilities daily to ensure they meet safety standards and are in optimal working condition.
• Enforce all club rules and regulations consistently and fairly while modeling positive behavior and inclusive attitudes.
• Execute daily, weekly, and monthly activity schedules as directed by the Recreation Supervisor, adapting flexibly to accommodate diverse interests and needs.
• Keep the club and crèche areas clean, organized, and welcoming at all times, adhering to hygiene and sanitation protocols.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of club facilities, operating hours, current promotions, and pricing to effectively communicate with parents.
• Respond promptly and empathetically to children's needs, concerns, and behavioral challenges, using supportive and constructive approaches.
• Maintain open communication with supervisors and team members to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
