Context

The Kids Club Manager - Child Activities is responsible for running a safe, clean, and enjoyable Kids Club that supports the hotel's family‑friendly guest experience. The role combines childcare supervision, activity planning, parent communication, incident reporting, staff scheduling, training, and daily coordination with the Entertainment Manager or Director of Entertainment. By keeping children engaged and protected, the position helps strengthen guest satisfaction, family loyalty, and operational standards within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily Kids Club operations in line with company policies, hotel procedures, safety rules, and guest service standards.
• Hire, train, guide, and monitor Kids Club Attendants to ensure consistent childcare quality and professional conduct.
• Prepare staff schedules according to operational needs and the approved Kids Club budget.
• Attend club staff meetings and communicate key updates, guest feedback, and operational priorities to the team.
• Keep the Assistant Entertainment Manager or Entertainment Manager informed of unusual situations, incidents, special requests, or operational concerns.
• Ensure parents or guardians sign the Kids Club agreement, registration documents, and emergency information forms before children enter the facility.
• Confirm that parents receive the required Kids Club information, rules, and usage guidelines.
• Check that guests or members using the Kids Club have completed any required payment or access process.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized Kids Club area according to hotel standards.
• Ensure toys, equipment, play materials, and activity objects are clean, safe, and suitable for children.
• Monitor children closely at all times and maintain strong attention on their safety, behavior, needs, and comfort.
• Ensure Kids Club staff maintain current CPR certification for all required age groups.
• Report incidents according to company policy and submit completed incident reports to the relevant supervisor or department.
• Assist the Entertainment Manager with parent or member concerns related to Kids Club services.
• Train Kids Club Attendants to perform assigned duties correctly, safely, and in line with approved procedures.
• Provide appropriate child care support, including contacting parents or guardians when assistance is needed for personal care matters.
• Manage children's behavior professionally and apply suitable measures to maintain a positive and safe environment.
• Develop and implement age‑appropriate activities that keep children engaged while supporting safety, creativity, and enjoyment.
• Maintain a positive, friendly, and caring attitude when interacting with children, parents, guardians, colleagues, and hotel guests.
• Share clear information with parents or guardians about their child's behavior, participation, unusual activity, or any relevant occurrence.
• Carry out additional duties requested by the Entertainment Manager or Director of Entertainment.

Ideal Profile

• 2-3 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a Kids Club, childcare, recreation, entertainment, or hotel family services environment.
• Previous experience in the same role within a 4-5 star hotel is preferred.
• Strong understanding of child safety, supervision, guest care, activity planning, and parent communication.
• Ability to lead Kids Club Attendants with patience, confidence, and clear operational direction.
• Flexible approach to different work situations, guest needs, children's behavior, and changing hotel activity schedules.
• Able to maintain calm and professional behavior when handling incidents, parent concerns, emergency situations, or busy operating periods.
• Good communication skills for working with children, parents, hotel colleagues, and management.
• Strong sense of responsibility, cleanliness, safety awareness, and attention to detail.
• Positive personality with a caring attitude and a genuine interest in creating enjoyable experiences for children.
• Comfortable working in a multicultural hospitality environment with international guests and team members.
