Responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Junior Systems Engineer provides first-line support for the organization’s IT infrastructure and assists senior engineers in maintaining on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments. The role focuses on monitoring systems, performing routine maintenance, resolving basic infrastructure issues, and supporting day-to-day IT operations while developing technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure Support

• Monitor the health and availability of servers and infrastructure systems
• Perform routine server health checks and report issues to senior engineers
• Assist with user account administration in Active Directory
• Support routine operating system patching and updates
• Assist with server builds, deployments, and basic configuration tasks
• Perform basic troubleshooting of Windows and Linux servers

• Assist with monitoring Microsoft Azure resources
