Job summary

Nova International General Contracting LLC is seeking a proactive Junior Structural Engineer to support structural design, review, and execution for building projects in the UAE. You will prepare shop drawings, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specs, and authorities.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years UAE experience, familiarity with concrete and steel works, and strong skills in ETABS/SAP2000/STAAD, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural specialization.
• 1–3 years of UAE structural engineering experience.
• Experience with reinforced concrete and structural steel.
• Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, STAAD Pro, SAP2000 or similar software.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reinforcement shop drawings and Bar Bending Schedules (BBS).
• Assist in reviewing structural drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, calculations, and submittals.
• Monitor structural works for compliance with drawings and quality standards.
• Participate in site inspections and help resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and safety standards.
• Support project execution, consultant submissions, and authority approvals.

Job Description

Nova International General Contracting LLC is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to support the structural design, review, coordination, and execution of building construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing the structural shop drawings and ensuring structural works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, local authority regulations, and international engineering standards while collaborating closely with project teams to deliver high-quality projects.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on residential, commercial, mixed-use, or villa projects.
• Membership in a recognized engineering institution is an advantage.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
