Job summary

JAMS HR Solutions is seeking a Junior Sales Engineer to support technical sales efforts for Crouse-Hinds and B-Line product portfolios in UAE’s Oil & Gas sectors. You will assist in market mapping, track project pipelines, and support distributors with technical data and proposals to grow market share.

You will learn to read BOQs, evaluate proposals, and participate in cross-selling initiatives while meeting KPI targets and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in technical sales, engineering support, or estimation within industrial or Oil & Gas sectors in the UAE.
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Basic familiarity with industrial electrical solutions, hazardous area equipment, or cable management systems.

Responsibilities

• Track project opportunities across Dubai and Abu Dhabi, maintaining an updated pipeline of Greenfield and Brownfield developments.
• Assist in mapping OEMs, system integrators, and distributors under the guidance of senior sales leadership.
• Manage customer inquiries from initial technical receipt through to commercial quotation, learning the end-to-end purchase order conversion process.
• Coordinate with distributors to ensure timely delivery of technical data sheets and commercial proposals.
• Develop a strong technical understanding of GRP/SS panel solutions and LED industrial lighting conversions.
• Maintain the distribution tracking sheet monthly and follow up on order execution timelines.
