Job summary

Meraki Group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Facade Engineer to join our innovative team in Dubai. You will work with senior engineers to assist in developing facade design solutions that meet aesthetic, functional, and sustainability requirements, enabling growth in this field.

The role offers exposure to glazing, cladding, and curtain wall design, along with collaboration across architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects across the UAE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in facade design or related fields (internships included).
• Familiarity with facade materials, systems, and current design trends.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and analysis of facade systems, including glazing, cladding, and curtain walls.
• Prepare detailed drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.
• Support the senior team members in conducting material research and sourcing suitable products for facade applications.
• Participate in site visits to observe installation processes and provide technical support as needed.
• Contribute to the preparation of design reports, calculations, and documentation for project submissions.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to facilitate project delivery and address challenges.
