Job summary

Qualifications

This role is crucial in ensuring that all facade installations meet the highest standards of quality and safety throughout the construction process. You will play a key role in evaluating materials, monitoring construction techniques, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality assurance processes specific to facade systems
• Conduct inspections of facade materials and assemblies to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
• Review and approve method statements and inspection test plans (ITPs) related to facade installation
• Coordinate and supervise site activities focusing on facade quality, including material delivery inspections and installation checks
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive records of inspections, tests, and quality reports
• Identify non-conformities and work with subcontractors and the project team to develop corrective action plans
• Ensure all quality-related documentation is up-to-date and readily accessible
• Act as a liaison between project management, contractors, and consultants to facilitate effective communication on quality issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in facade construction
• Strong understanding of facade materials, construction methodologies, and relevant building codes
• Proficient in preparing and reviewing ITPs, method statements, and quality assurance documentation
• Familiarity with quality control processes and inspection techniques specific to facade systems
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
