Job summary

The Greater Change in Dubai is seeking a Junior Database Administrator to ensure the reliability and performance of core business systems, including databases and CRM platforms. This hands-on role suits someone early in their career who is comfortable with data, Excel, and CRM tools in a fast-paced retail environment.

You'll work with the IT team on security, backups, reporting, data migration, and system enhancements while helping maintain data accuracy across branches and platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in a database administration, CRM support, or systems support role.
• Working knowledge of CRM systems; Salesforce or Zoho preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data management).
• SQL knowledge is not required.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or general business software environments.
• Attention to detail and a methodical, disciplined approach to data integrity and security.
• Excellent to good English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Support administration, monitoring, and routine maintenance of company databases and CRM systems.
• Maintain and update records within CRM systems (Salesforce, Zoho, or similar), ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Monitor database and CRM performance and data quality, escalating issues promptly.
• Perform regular backups and assist with restore and disaster recovery testing.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining database and CRM security, access controls, and user permissions.
• Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports, trackers, and dashboards for internal use.
• Support data migration, import/export, and integration tasks between business systems.
• Troubleshoot database and CRM-related issues in coordination with application and infrastructure teams.
• Maintain accurate documentation of database and CRM configurations, procedures, and change logs.
• Assist senior team members and IT management with system upgrades, patching, and process improvements.
