Job summary

Rixos Hotels is seeking a professional chef with 1-2 years’ experience in a 4-5 star hotel to manage station inventories and support smooth kitchen operations in Ras Al Khaimah. The role requires following standard recipes, costing, and active participation in promotions and events.

You will coordinate with executives and outlet supervisors, maintain quality and waste controls, and uphold hygiene and grooming standards as part of daily duties within a luxury hotel setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality.
• 1-2 years experience in 4-5 star Hotel.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory lists for the station.
• Fill in for another chef when absent from another station.
• Ensure standard recipes and plating guides are followed at all times in the outlet.
• Provide the Executive Sous Chef with daily market list and controls for all goods received.
• Provide recipes and costing as required by the Executive Sous Chef & Executive Chef.
• Assist with special Food Promotions, Events and activities for the outlet.
• Communicate with Outlet Supervisors daily to explain all food items.
• Control food wastage while maintaining quality.
• Recommend changes to increase efficiency and service levels.
• Keep records/documentation per operational control requirements.
• Maintain intradepartmental communication via log books and memos.
• Attend training classes as scheduled and uphold grooming standards.
• Be aware of daily activities and product knowledge of all hotel facilities.
