Responsibilities

• Prepare inventory list for station.
• Fill in for another chef when absent; basic knowledge of other stations.
• Ensure standard recipes and plating guides are followed.
• Provide daily market list and inspect all goods received.
• Provide recipes and costing to the Executive Sous Chef.
• Assist with special food promotions, events and other activities.
• Communicate with Outlet Supervisors to ensure items are well explained.
• Control food wastage without compromising quality.
• Suggest changes to increase efficiency and service levels.
• Maintain records per operational control requirements.
• Attend training classes as scheduled.
• Show cooperation within the team and other departments.
• Be aware of daily activities and product knowledge of hotel facilities.
• Apply HACCP per hotel standards.
