Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts is seeking a skilled Kitchen Associate for Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara in the United Arab Emirates. The role supports the Production team, assists in food preparation, and executes duties as directed by senior chefs to ensure highest quality and service standards.

Candidates should have a Hotel Management background, at least 5 years of kitchen experience in 4- or 5-star settings, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Hotel Management graduate or related course.
• At least 5 years experience in the same capacity preferably in 4* or 5* Hotels.
• Fluent in conversational English.
• Health in good condition.
• Ability to work on split shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Production team in food preparation and related duties in the Kitchen.
• Follow directions from Sous Chef, Executive Chef or Chef de Partie in any section.
• Adhere to HACCP and maintain clear records.
• Maintain grooming, hygiene and professional conduct at all times.
• Coordinate with Department Coordinators and Supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
