Job summary

Amzone International Limited in Sharjah, UAE, seeks a skilled Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting for multiple group entities. You will handle sales, purchases, receipts and payments, and maintain ledgers.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years UAE accounting experience, strong Excel, and knowledge of AP/AR, GL, reconciliations, and tax compliance, with proactive communication across finance and audit teams.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting including sales, purchases, receipts and payments.

• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Prepare financial reports and schedules for group companies.
• Support VAT & Corporate Tax work and internal audits.
• Assist with month-end close and financial reporting.

Our client is a UAE-based techno-commercial group delivering engineering, lifting and industrial solutions across Energy, Oil & Gas, Marine, Construction, Infrastructure and Material Handling, with multiple businesses and group entities.

Location: Sharjah, UAE

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on UAE Accounting experience

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting transactions including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivablerecords.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier and inter-company reconciliations.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete and properly documented.
• Prepare financial reports, schedules and management datafor multiple group companies.
• Provide financial information and supporting documents to the Internal Audit team.
• Support the Tax & Compliance team with financial data, VAT/Corporate Tax workings and documentation.
• Assist with month-end closing, audits and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and ensure timely resolution.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or related field
• 3+ years of UAE accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of AP/AR, General Ledger, reconciliations and day-to-day accounting
• Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software
• Basic understanding of UAE VAT & Corporate Tax
• Experience With Multiple Entities/group Companiesis Preferred
