Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
• GAAP knowledge and accounting principles familiarity
• 1 year UAE accounting experience
• Experience with engineering consultancy firms is a plus
• Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Strong English communication, written and verbal

Responsibilities

• Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling accounts payable and receivable
• Producing error‑free accounting reports and present their results
• Prepare sales invoices and follow up with payments
• Assist with tax audits and tax returns
• Maintain a proper filing system for accounting documents.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual closing reports
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles
• Liaise with Senior Accountant to improve financial procedures

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience with emphasis on UAE experience
• Previous work experience with Engineering Consultancy Firms
• Understanding of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Hands‑on experience with accounting software packages
• Advance MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
