Job summary

United Arab Emirates University seeks an IT Support Specialist to deliver comprehensive IT support for UAEU units and remote locations. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, provide onsite assistance, manage AD/Exchange/SCCM/Citrix, and ensure reliable IT resources across campuses.

The role includes creating technical reports, maintaining inventories, supporting app rollouts, and providing user training. A Bachelor in IT and 3–6 years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT related field is required.
• 3-6 years’ IT support experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs and maintains computer equipment and tests PCs and peripherals to diagnose hardware vs software problems.
• Deliver proactive onsite support and knowledge transfer to customers.
• Administrate Active Directory users, Exchange users management, SCCM, Citrix cloud computing and apps, Print management solution.
• Manage hardware standards technical specifications for tendering and prepare technical reports.
• Supervise maintenance orders for photocopiers and prepare specifications, studies and reports.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Serve as a liaison with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
• Support roll-out of new applications and set up new user accounts and passwords.
