Job summary

Binghatti in Dubai is seeking an IT Support Engineer to provide frontline technical support, troubleshoot incidents, and maintain IT equipment. You will manage user accounts, assist with onboarding, and ensure service requests are resolved efficiently.

Candidate should have 3+ years in IT support, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Windows and macOS environments, plus familiarity with ticketing systems and ITSM processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Bachelor's degree in IT Applications, Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first and second line support for IT issues, including hardware, software and networking.
• Diagnose and resolve technical problems reported by employees in a timely manner.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and IT equipment.
• Monitor IT systems for performance and reliability and perform routine checks.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Log and track incidents and service requests using an ITSM tool and ensure SLAs are met.
• Maintain clear documentation of issues, solutions and configurations.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on basic IT usage and security.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff or vendors when needed.
