The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai is seeking an IT Specialist to ensure seamless guest connectivity and system uptime across luxury properties in the Middle East. You will be the primary IT contact for guest-related issues and will work within our prestigious learning academy to achieve the highest standards of craft and service.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT or related field is required.
• CCNA and Microsoft Certification are desirable.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity in luxury hotels in the Middle East is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for IT-related guest issues and address them promptly.
• Ensure hotel applications and networks operate per Dorchester Collection standards.
• Enforce IT policies and procedures and monitor compliance.
• Assist in maintaining critical systems: Opera, Simphony, Call Accounting, HSIA, PABX, and F&B POS 24/7 availability.
• Provide desktop OS and application support, including patches.
• Monitor IT Helpdesk tickets and resolve them on priority.
• Verify backups and escalate issues to IT Manager as needed.
• Assist guests with any on-stay IT assistance.
• Follow Planned Preventive Maintenance for telecom rooms and keep records updated.
