IT Operations Engineer – Key Requirements in Points

Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance of assigned projects.
• Lead and participate in operations, outage, incident, and safety meetings.
• Support internal applications, systems, and infrastructure.
• Assist in installation, racking, cabling, and maintenance of equipment.

• Build, test, and maintain deployment and automation scripts.
• Assemble and install operational equipment including racks, cabinets, shelving, and related infrastructure.
• Support telephone system hardware, cabling, and communication infrastructure changes.
• Create and manage tickets while adhering to customer authentication and sign-in procedures.
• Monitor operational status boards, engineering review boards, and problem management boards.Provide project leadership and supervise junior team members when required.
• Prepare technical and operational presentations for customers and management.
• Design, maintain, host, transform, and analyze operational processes.
• Install and maintain mechanical and operational equipment within plant or data center environments.
• Build and execute unit tests and maintain test plans.
• Take corrective actions on system alerts based on standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Perform inventory management and data entry for received goods and assets.

• Provide timely stakeholder updates during critical incidents and outages.
