The role oversees IT infrastructure and networks, reviews systems, manages budgets, and drives cost reduction while keeping abreast of cutting-edge technologies. UAE Nationals only, candidates should have a Bachelor's in IT (Master's preferred) and 5–6 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Masters would be an advantage.
• Minimum of 5–6 years of IT leadership experience.
• Team management is essential.
• Experience in writing and reviewing technical RFPs.
• Proven track record in implementing IT systems to enhance performance.

Our client, a well renowned Educational Institution in the UAE, has an immediate requirement for an IT Operations Director - UAE Nationals only.The purpose of the role is the direction, leadership and administration of the IT Service Department. This includes accountability for department staffing, productivity and enhancement of employees.

Direct the management and operation of IT infrastructure and communication networks.

Review of existing systems and creation of new and enhanced methods.

Develop and manage department budgets, perform cost analysis and devise cost reduction methods.

Oversees the staffing of the department to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently.

Evaluate vendors and proposals for additional services, products and equipment.

Provide leadership in the development and implementation of new systems.

Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of state of the art equipment and leading edge technologies.

Bachelors Degree in IT, Masters would be an advantage.
