Job summary

Tawazon Chemical Co. LLC in Dubai seeks a Senior IT Officer to provide end-user support and manage Level 1 IT operations at the site. You will ensure the IT Network Infrastructure remains healthy, secure, and highly available, while handling service tickets, SLAs, and vendor coordination.

The role requires troubleshooting expertise, documentation discipline, and proactive service delivery improvements aligned with corporate guidelines. Strong knowledge of Office 365, AD, DNS, DHCP is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• Certifications in Cisco and Microsoft preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to users and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain IT peripherals and ensure policy compliance.
• Manage Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP services for smooth operations.
• Monitor systems and network performance; identify faults and implement timely fixes.
• Perform preventive maintenance and ensure IT security to minimize downtime.
• Maintain documentation of IT assets, troubleshooting steps and recommendations.
• Escalate issues to higher-level teams and coordinate with vendors for resolutions.
• Configure and manage backup solutions to ensure data protection and recovery readiness.
• Design and improve IT service delivery processes in line with SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with clients and Group IT to gather requirements and support infrastructure improvements.

Job Description

TheSenior IT Officeris responsible for providing end-user support related to all Level 1 ensuring that the performance and availability of the IT Network Infrastructure at the site is healthy and always functional overseeing and maintaining reliable, secure, and efficient IT operations at the site. The role provides advanced technical support, manages IT infrastructure and services, ensures system availability andsame is maintained to the highest standard with maximum levels of productivity and efficiency. Expertise in troubleshooting, maintaining Service tickets, and SLA’s design is important.

• Provide first-line technical support to users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues efficiently.
• Install, configure, and maintain IT peripherals such as laptops, desktops, printers, and related devices in compliance with company policies.
• Manage and support Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services to ensure smooth IT operations.
• Monitor systems, networks, and equipment performance to identify malfunctions, analyze faults, and implement timely corrective actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, health checks, and monitoring of IT infrastructure to ensure network security and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, troubleshooting activities, fixes, procedures, and technical recommendations.
• Escalate unresolved technical issues to higher-level support teams and coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and follow-up.
• Configure and manage backup solutions, including Synology backup systems, to ensure data protection and recovery readiness.
• Design, deploy, and improve IT service delivery processes in alignment with corporate guidelines, SLA requirements, and business objectives.
• Liaise with clients and Group IT teams to gather requirements, support infrastructure improvements, and proactively maintain reliable IT services.
