Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking an experienced IT Administrator to manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will oversee AD, DNS/DHCP, and core networking services, while implementing security and backup procedures.

The role requires strong scripting skills, 5+ years in IT administration, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non‑technical stakeholders. On‑site Dubai presence is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in IT administration or systems administration.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and/or Linux server administration.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python).
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, Windows and Linux, plus virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and cloud infra (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Oversee network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs.
• Implement and maintain security best practices with patching, endpoint protection, and access controls.
