Job summary

MIRA CONSTRUCTION L.L.C in Dubai is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in IT or CS, and strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Microsoft 365. Cloud and virtualization skills (Azure/AWS, VMware/Hyper-V) are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure.
• Experience with Windows Server and/or Linux.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP and networking.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is an advantage.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Familiarity with backup, monitoring, cybersecurity, and endpoint-management solutions.
• Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco, or VMware are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and monitor Windows/Linux servers and IT systems.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and access controls.
• Monitor network and system performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
• Perform system backups, recovery procedures, and disaster-recovery activities.
• Manage hardware, software, printers, and other IT infrastructure.
• Apply security patches, updates, antivirus protection, and system hardening.
• Maintain IT documentation, configurations, and asset records.
• Respond to help-desk escalations and provide technical support to users.
