As a System Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security and reliability of our organization’s IT infrastructure. You will play a critical role in maintaining and managing various systems, servers, and networks to support the company’s technology needs. Monitor and manage the organization’s servers, networks, and systems to ensure high availability and optimal performance. Install, configure and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware components. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to servers, networks, and software applications in a timely manner. Implement security measures to protect the organization’s data and systems from unauthorized access, viruses and other threats. Regularly update and patch systems to ensure they are up-to-date with the latest security and software enhancements. Manage user accounts, permissions and access levels to ensure proper security protocols are followed. Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and recommend new hardware and software solutions that align with business needs. Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes and procedures. Plan and perform system backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
