Job summary

Uasmart in Dubai is seeking a skilled Technical Support Engineer to provide L2/L3 production support for IST Switch, ATM, and payment systems in enterprise banking environments. You will monitor transaction flows, switch performance, and system health; perform ISO 8583 analysis and troubleshooting; and support Linux‑based payment environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in technical support for IST Switch, ATM, and payment systems.
• Strong knowledge of ATM, card management, acquiring, and issuing environments.
• Hands-on ISO 8583 message analysis and transaction troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ATM and POS protocols, including NDC/DDC.
• Experience with payment system monitoring and production support.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
• Experience supporting deployments, patches, configuration changes, and system upgrades.
• Understanding of PCI-DSS and banking security standards.
• Willingness to participate in on-call and critical incident support.
• Immediate joiners or candidates available within 30 days are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 technical support for IST Switch and payment systems.
• Monitor transaction flows, switch performance, system availability, logs, and application health.
• Troubleshoot transaction failures, authorization issues, settlement discrepancies, and connectivity incidents.
• Analyze ISO 8583 messages and transaction flows.
• Support ATM, POS, card management, acquiring, and issuing environments.
• Work with ATM and POS protocols, including NDC/DDC and device integrations.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support Linux-based payment environments.
• Perform database queries, transaction analysis, and reconciliation support.
• Support deployments, configuration changes, patches, and system upgrades.
• Coordinate with vendors, card schemes, banking stakeholders, and internal teams during production incidents.
• Support compliance with PCI-DSS and banking security standards.
• Participate in on‑call and critical incident support activities.
• Maintain appropriate technical documentation and incident records.
