Job summary

Q Tech General Trading LLC partners with Amazon's MENA A-Now to manage grocery inventory in Dubai. The role focuses on building scalable inventory control, forecasting, and alignment with procurement, operations, and logistics across networks.

Responsibilities include monitoring stock health, reducing excess, and leading data-driven improvement projects to sustain in-stock performance in a fast-moving market.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in supply chain, inventory management, or project management.
• 5 years of experience using Excel.
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as statistics, mathematics, data science, business analytics, economics, finance, engineering, or computer science.
• Experience working with complex data sets.

• Inventory Management - Lead daily monitoring of inventory health metrics and inventory accuracy.
• Develop strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce excess and aged inventory.
• Implement and maintain effective inventory control processes.
• Monitor inventory shrinkage and damage rates.
• Support the development and execution of buying and sourcing strategy for the new category.
• Data Analysis and Forecasting - Analyze historical data to predict future inventory requirements.
• Create demand forecasts and recommend appropriate order quantities.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators.
• Identify inventory trends, performance gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
• Use data and business metrics to continuously improve inventory performance.
• Cross-functional Leadership - Partner with operations, transportation, procurement, and other relevant teams.
• Build alignment between planning and execution teams.
• Influence internal and external stakeholders and leadership to support strategic direction.
• Escalate and resolve inventory-related issues across networks.
• Lead projects designed to improve in-stock performance.
• Build effective working relationships across complex business, technology, and operations processes involving Amazon and its partners.
• Process Improvement - Develop and implement standard operating procedures.
• Identify root causes of inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Train and coach team members on inventory management best practices.
• Support scalable processes suitable for a fast-moving and developing business.

Basic Qualifications
