Job summary

Danar FZE is seeking an experienced Logistics & Transport Coordinator to manage transportation, import/export documentation, and customs processes. This role requires coordinating with freight forwarders, ports, and customs brokers to ensure timely clearance and release of shipments.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in English and MS Office. Location: JAFZA, UAE; salary discussions will reflect experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, import/export, or customs clearance.
• Understanding of international shipping and import/export procedures.
• Experience with shipping and transportation documentation.
• Experience with ports and customs brokers.
• Knowledge of Certificates of Origin.
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and tasks.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in MS Office and general computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage transportation arrangements for import and export shipments.
• Request, collect, and verify transport and shipping documents for import/export invoices.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, transport companies, and logistics providers.
• Liaise with ports, customs brokers, and authorities on cargo arrival, customs clearance, and release.
• Monitor shipments through transportation and customs clearance processes.
• Prepare Certificates of Origin and other required trade docs.
• Ensure shipping documentation is accurate and submitted on time.
• Coordinate documentation between suppliers, customers, freight forwarders, ports, brokers, and internal teams.
• Track shipment status and resolve issues.
• Maintain organized records of logistics documentation.
