Job summary

Danar FZE is seeking an experienced Logistics & Transport Coordinator to manage transportation arrangements for import/export shipments, ensure all shipping documents are complete, and coordinate with freight forwarders, ports, customs brokers, and internal teams.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple shipments simultaneously, with strong written and spoken English and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, transportation, import/export, freight forwarding or customs clearance.
• Practical experience with shipping and transportation documentation.
• Good written and spoken English and proficiency with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage transportation arrangements for import and export shipments.
• Request, collect, and verify transport and shipping documents for import/export invoices.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping agents, transport companies and other providers.
• Liaise with ports, customs brokers and authorities regarding cargo arrival and clearance.
• Monitor shipments through the transportation and customs clearance process.
• Prepare Certificates of Origin and other trade documentation.
• Ensure all shipping and customs documents are accurate and submitted on time.
• Coordinate documentation between suppliers, customers and internal departments.
• Track shipment status and resolve transportation or documentation issues.
• Maintain organized records of all logistics and customs documentation.
