Job summary

ABU ALNAGA CONTRACTING in Dubai is seeking an experienced Interior/Architectural Project Handovers specialist to manage the full handover process from construction completion to client handover. You will lead final inspections, coordinate snagging, and ensure all handover documents are complete.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
• Experience in interior fit-out projects and project handover.
• Strong knowledge of snagging, QA/QC, inspections, testing & commissioning.
• Understanding of interior finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions, doors, and MEP coordination.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project handover process from construction completion to client handover.
• Conduct final inspections and coordinate snagging and de-snagging activities.
• Coordinate with site, QA/QC, MEP, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to close outstanding works.
• Review and ensure completion of As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, warranties, test reports, and handover documents.
• Coordinate testing & commissioning and ensure required approvals are obtained.
• Prepare and maintain snag lists, handover trackers, inspection records, and close-out reports.
• Verify that completed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Attend consultant/client inspections and coordinate timely closure of comments.
• Ensure the project is clean, complete, safe, and ready for final handover.
• Support final completion and defects liability/close-out activities when required.

Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.

Good communication, reporting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

• UAE/GCC fit-out experience is an advantage.
