Job summary

ABU ALNAGA CONTRACTING is seeking an experienced Interior Fit-Out Engineer – Handover to lead the successful completion and handover of interior fit-out projects in Dubai. You will manage handover from construction to client, supervise site activities, coordinate with QA/QC, MEP, and subcontractors, and ensure documentation is complete.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Architectural Engineering or Interior Design, with proven hands-on experience in fit-out projects, snagging, testing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture/Interior field as required.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out projects and project handover.
• Strong knowledge of snagging, QA/QC, inspections, testing & commissioning, and handover documentation.
• Good understanding of interior finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions, doors, and MEP coordination.

Responsibilities

• Manage the complete project handover process from construction completion to client handover.
• Conduct final inspections and coordinate snagging and de-snagging activities.
• Coordinate with site, QA/QC, MEP, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to close outstanding works.
• Review and ensure completion of As-Built Drawings, O&M Manuals, warranties, test reports, and handover documents.
• Coordinate testing & commissioning and ensure required approvals are obtained.
• Prepare and maintain snag lists, handover trackers, inspection records, and close-out reports.
• Verify that completed works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Attend consultant/client inspections and coordinate timely closure of comments.
• Ensure the project is clean, complete, safe, and ready for final handover.
• Support final completion and defects liability/close-out activities when required.

• Good understanding of interior finishes, joinery, ceilings, flooring, partitions, doors, and MEP coordination.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Good communication, reporting, documentation, and problem‑solving skills.
• UAE/GCC fit-out experience is an advantage.
