Job summary

4SPACE Design in Dubai is seeking a creative Interior Designer to join our Dubai studio and contribute to high-end hospitality, F&B, workplace, commercial, and residential projects.

The successful candidate will support projects from concept development through design development and technical coordination, combining strong creative thinking with practical design knowledge and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional interior design experience.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.
• Experience in high-end hospitality, F&B, workplace, commercial, or residential projects.
• Strong concept development, space planning, and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp; knowledge of Revit/3ds Max/Enscape a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts aligned with client brief, brand, and project objectives.
• Prepare mood boards, space plans, material palettes, and design narratives.
• Produce design development packages including plans, elevations, details, schedules.
• Select finishes, furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, and other interior elements.
• Coordinate with technical, FF&E, visualization, MEP, and external consultants.
• Review drawings to ensure design intent is met.
• Research new materials, products, suppliers, and design trends.
• Prepare client presentations and participate in design meetings.
• Respond to design queries during tender and construction.
• Support site visits, sample reviews, mock-ups, and design-quality inspections.
• Maintain project records, trackers, and material schedules.
• Use AI and digital design tools to improve efficiency.

The successful candidate will support projects from concept development through design development and technical coordination, combining strong creative thinking with practical design knowledge and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative interior design concepts aligned with the client’s brief, brand, and project objectives.
• Prepare mood boards, concept presentations, space plans, material palettes, and design narratives.
• Produce and coordinate design development packages, including plans, elevations, details, schedules, and specifications.
• Select finishes, furniture, lighting, sanitaryware, accessories, and other interior elements.
• Coordinate with technical, FF&E, visualization, MEP, project-management, and external consultant teams.
• Review drawings and visualizations to ensure consistency with the approved design intent.
• Research new materials, products, suppliers, and design trends.
• Prepare client presentations and participate in design meetings.
• Respond to design-related queries during tender and construction.
• Support site visits, sample reviews, mock-ups, and design‑quality inspections.
• Maintain project records, approval trackers, and material schedules.
• Use AI and digital design tools responsibly to improve research, ideation, presentation quality, and efficiency.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of professional interior design experience.
• Previous UAE or GCC experience is strongly preferred.
• Experience in high‑end hospitality, F&B, workplace, commercial, or residential projects.
• Strong concept development, space planning, material selection, and presentation skills.
• Good understanding of technical drawings, joinery, finishes, lighting, FF&E, and construction requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with Revit, 3ds Max, Enscape, or other visualization tools is an advantage.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Able to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating both creativity and project involvement is essential.
