Job summary

Client of AQJOBS is seeking a creative Interior Designer in Dubai to lead the development of functional and visually compelling spaces from concept through to execution. The role requires strong space planning, interior fit-out knowledge, and expert 2D/3D drawings in collaboration with clients, architects, and contractors.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and has at least four years of professional experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional interior design experience.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out and design projects.
• Experience across residential, commercial, hospitality, or retail sectors preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity and technical knowledge.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite recommended.
• Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand design requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Develop interior design concepts for multiple project types.
• Prepare mood boards, space plans, layouts, and design presentations.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and interior fit-out drawings.
• Generate high-quality 3D models, renders, and visualizations.
• Select and specify materials, finishes, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review shop drawings and contractor submissions; monitor site execution.

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative detail-oriented and experienced Interior Designer in Dubai to join our team The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative functional and visually appealing interior spaces while managing design requirements from the initial concept stage through to project execution The ideal candidate should have strong experience in interior design space planning interior fit-out technical drawings 3D visualization material selection and site coordination The role requires close coordination with clients architects consultants contractors suppliers and internal project teams to ensure that design concepts are delivered to the required quality budget and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their design requirements preferences functional needs budgets and project timelines
• Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for residential commercial hospitality retail and other interior projects
• Prepare concept designs mood boards space plans furniture layouts material palettes and design presentations
• Create detailed 2D layouts elevations sections construction drawings and interior fit-out drawings
• Develop high-quality 3D models renders and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively
• Select appropriate furniture fixtures lighting flooring wall finishes fabrics accessories and other interior materials
• Prepare detailed design documentation material specifications schedules and BOQs
• Coordinate with architects MEP consultants contractors suppliers and project teams to ensure design requirements are accurately implemented
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor design execution workmanship materials and compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Review and approve material samples shop drawings mock-ups and contractor submissions
• Identify and resolve design technical and site-related issues during project execution
• Ensure interior design solutions are practical cost-effective and aligned with project requirements
• Coordinate design changes and revisions with clients and project stakeholders
• Ensure projects are delivered according to approved designs quality standards budgets and agreed timelines
• Maintain accurate design drawings project records specifications and documentation
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends materials finishes furniture lighting solutions and design technologies

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out and design projects.
• Experience in residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, office, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design capability, technical knowledge, and project execution experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design and visualization software.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, fixtures, and fit-out practices.
• Ability to interpret and prepare technical drawings, construction drawings, layouts, elevations, and detailed design documentation.
• Experience with site coordination, contractor coordination, and project execution will be an advantage.
