Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Proven experience in interior fit-out and design projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, design capability, technical knowledge, and project execution experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
• Working knowledge of SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, or other relevant design and visualization software.
• Experience with site coordination, contractor coordination, and project execution will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their design requirements, preferences, functional needs, budgets, and project timelines.
• Develop creative and practical interior design concepts for residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, and other interior projects.
• Prepare concept designs, mood boards, space plans, furniture layouts, material palettes, and design presentations.
• Create detailed 2D layouts, elevations, sections, construction drawings, and interior fit-out drawings.
• Develop high-quality 3D models, renders, and visualizations to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, lighting, flooring, wall finishes, fabrics, accessories, and other interior materials.
• Prepare detailed design documentation, material specifications, schedules, and BOQs.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure design requirements are accurately implemented.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor design execution, workmanship, materials, and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Review and approve material samples, shop drawings, mock-ups, and contractor submissions.
• Identify and resolve design, technical, and site-related issues during project execution.
• Ensure interior design solutions are practical, cost-effective, and aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate design changes and revisions with clients and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered according to approved designs, quality standards, budgets, and agreed timelines.
• Maintain accurate design drawings, project records, specifications, and documentation.
• Stay updated with the latest interior design trends, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting solutions, and design technologies
