Job summary

Penspen Ltd, Abu Dhabi, seeks an experienced Interface Engineer to manage and coordinate interfaces across disciplines, licensors, clients and vendors on petrochemical projects. The role emphasizes strong stakeholder engagement and proactive interface management.

The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 10 years in Oil & Gas, including 5 years in GCC, with FEED/detailed engineering exposure and proven ability to work within EPC/engineering consultancy environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years' Oil & Gas experience (5+ years in GCC).
• At least 5 years in a similar interface role for major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Strong experience coordinating interfaces in EPC/engineering consultancy environments.
• Good understanding of petrochemical facilities, process units, utilities and offsites.
• FEED and detailed engineering experience preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Coordinate interfaces between process units, utilities, offsites, packages and existing facilities.
• Liaise with clients, licensors, EPC contractors, vendors and engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues.
• Maintain interface registers and monitor interface actions through closure.
• Support FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Identify interface risks, clashes and potential impacts on project scope and schedule.
• Participate in interface coordination and project review meetings.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, and track multidisciplinary project interfaces and interface agreements.
• Coordinate interfaces between process units, utilities, offsites, packages, and existing facilities.
• Liaise with clients, licensors, EPC contractors, vendors, and engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues.

Qualification / Experience (Skills):

• Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary interface coordination within EPC/engineering consultancy environments.
• Good understanding of petrochemical facilities, process units, utilities, offsites, and associated infrastructure.
• Experience with FEED and detailed engineering projects preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
