Job summary

Penspen is seeking an experienced Interface Engineer in Abu Dhabi to manage interfaces among engineering disciplines, licensors, clients, vendors, contractors, and project stakeholders. The role focuses on identifying and tracking interfaces, coordinating across process units, utilities, and offsites, and resolving interface issues with clients and EPC partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 10 years in Oil & Gas, with GCC region experience preferred.
• At least 5 years in a similar interface coordination role for major projects.
• Experience coordinating interfaces within EPC/engineering consultancy.
• Solid understanding of petrochemical facilities, utilities, and offsites.
• FEED and detailed engineering exposure is advantageous.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

We are hiring an experienced Interface Engineer with a strong background in petrochemical projects to manage and coordinate technical and organizational interfaces between engineering disciplines, licensors, clients, vendors, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, and track multidisciplinary project interfaces and interface agreements.
• Coordinate interfaces between process units, utilities, offsites, packages, and existing facilities.
• Liaise with clients, licensors, EPC contractors, vendors, and engineering disciplines to resolve interface issues.

Qualification / Experience (Skills)

• Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Strong experience in multidisciplinary interface coordination within EPC/engineering consultancy environments.
• Good understanding of petrochemical facilities, process units, utilities, offsites, and associated infrastructure.
• Experience with FEED and detailed engineering projects preferred.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
