WorleyParsons Arabia Limited Co in Abu Dhabi seeks an Interface Manager responsible for coordinating all interface activities during detail engineering and site execution, bridging multiple EPC contractors and internal teams to ensure technical alignment and schedule integrity.

You will lead interface meetings, maintain interface registers, monitor IP databases, support HAZOPs, and drive change management while maintaining clear reporting to Process/Project leads and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• 20+ years in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical sectors, GCC experience preferred.
• ≥5 years in a similar Interface/lead role for international projects.
• Experience with FEED and EPC packages; ADNOC experience preferred.
• Strong team-working, time-management, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering interfaces across EPC contractors and internal teams.
• Establish and steward interface meetings between EPC contractor and company leads.

Job description

JOB PURPOSE

Interface Manager is the role accountable for the overall Interface activities in the detail engineering phase at home office and for the execution of the Project Interface activities at site, combining both technical and coordination aspects. The role holder acts as a principal point of contact who liaises with all internal and external stakeholders for various technical inputs and ensures coordination among multiple parties.

The Interface Manager shall lead and oversee all interface management activities, ensuring effective coordination, communication, monitoring, reporting and control of interfaces among project stakeholders while providing leadership and supervision to the Interface team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

External and Internal Interfaces

• Responsible for engineering coordination and execution of assigned interface requirements through close interaction with internal and external parties, stakeholders, end users and EPC contractors.
• Identify, develop, coordinate, expedite and steward all Project Interfaces to closure.
• Establish regular interface meetings between the EPC contractor and company leads, and coordinate operations, material handling and turnaround teams.
• Provide regular coordination on Project Interfaces to Process Commissioning Manager and submit monthly and weekly progress reports.
• Participate in interface meetings and activities to ensure timely completion of battery limit tie‑ins and tie‑ins related to scopes.

Technical Integration

• Focal point for identifying, defining and executing technical physical internal and external interfaces through the EPC phase.
• Establish interface point registers, monitor and control IP databases.
• Initiate correspondence and agreements to align with the interdependency schedule between EPC contractor and stakeholders.
• Actively review project scope and develop execution plans and construction strategies.

Design Alignment

• Overall responsibility for interface deliverables, including establishing and executing interconnections with existing facilities.
• Participate in interface HAZOP for interface points and produce interface drawings and layouts.
• Ensure HAZOP of battery limit interface point is carried out as per project requirements.

Site Coordination

• Work closely with the FEED EPC contractor interface team and other stakeholders.
• Follow up on interface related documentation and provide feedback to Process Commissioning Manager.
• Highlight shortfalls and seek support to avoid schedule delays.
• Serve as focal point for identifying key interfaces between the project and existing facilities, particularly during shutdown activities.
• Maintain interface engineering documentation and review plans.

Engineering Change Management

• Review and approve interface discipline‑specific concession requests and assess impact on technical integrity.
• Ensure design change management is carried out with proper multidisciplinary impact assessment and control.

General

• Maintain regular meetings with interface discipline counterparts for timely coordination and problem resolution.
• Communicate discipline‑specific updates and areas of concern to Process Commissioning Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 4‑year bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Minimum 20 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry, including at least 5 years in the GCC region.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position for international projects.
• Experience with multiple packages for FEED and EPC projects.
• Experience in ADNOC is preferred.
• Experience in project execution and knowledge of engineering standards preferred.
• Strong team‑working, time‑management, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
