Job summary

Penspen Ltd in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced Project Engineer to coordinate engineering activities from FEED through detailed engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning for petrochemical projects.

The role demands robust coordination, stakeholder management, and proven delivery on large oil & gas or petrochemical programs in the GCC. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 10+ years of relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years in Oil & Gas; GCC experience.
• 5+ years in a similar role for major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• Experience in FEED and detailed engineering in EPC/consultancy.
• Understanding of petrochemical units, utilities, offsites, and interfaces.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with major Petrochemicals projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering activities for petrochemical projects.
• Manage engineering deliverables, interfaces, schedules, and technical queries.
• Liaise with clients, licensors, vendors, contractors, and engineering disciplines.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with scope, specifications, quality, and HSE requirements.
• Support procurement, construction, commissioning, and project close-out activities.
• Manage technical risks, changes, and interface issues.
• Participate in project reviews and prepare progress reports.

Qualification / Experience (Skills):

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in Oil & Gas (5) years in GCC region.
• Must have at least Five (5) years of experience in similar position for international major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects
• Experience in FEED and detailed engineering within an EPC or engineering consultancy environment.
• Good understanding of petrochemical process units, utilities, offsites, and multidisciplinary engineering interfaces.
• Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with major Petrochemicals projects.
