Position Overview

Integrity Engineer - Facilities Assurance in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Industry: Oil and Energy. Job Type: Full‑time. Salary: 35,000–50,000 AED (estimated; confirm final offer with employer).

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and update integrity-related procedures, technical references, manuals and reporting workflows for assigned facilities and assets.
  • Support implementation and maintenance of the Integrity Management System (IMS) database, applications and reporting tools.
  • Participate in developing and maintaining procedures for IMS implementation, reporting, auditing and data governance.
  • Coordinate between Integrity, Maintenance, Inspection and Operations teams for data gathering, validation and quality checks before database updates.
  • Coordinate issuance, regular review and update of written Integrity Management Plans for all facilities through the IMS software solution.
  • Support implementation of Integrity Management Plans and evaluate their effectiveness through verification checks, audits and performance reviews.
  • Monitor IMS compliance with agreed KPIs and highlight overdue actions, gaps or performance concerns.
  • Assist in implementing the company Asset Integrity Policy and Framework in relation to maintenance, inspection and facilities assurance.
  • Provide technical integrity input for facilities, plant equipment, structures, pipelines and related assets.
  • Ensure integrity requirements for new plants, equipment, structures and facilities are reviewed before installation in assigned fields.
  • Verify compatibility with required specifications prior to dispatch to site.
  • Inspect, initiate and prepare technical reports on plants and equipment planned for installation in assigned fields.
  • Coordinate regular updates of procedures for implementing IMS solutions.
  • Coordinate risk assessments and threat analysis reviews for assigned pipeline segments and support updates to IMS technical reference manuals.
  • Proactively monitor technical integrity of plant equipment through systematic follow‑up and performance review.
  • Highlight inspection overdue items, critical outstanding recommendations and plant failures to the Operating Authority.
  • Identify integrity‑related issues and coordinate their resolution internally or externally with relevant teams and service providers.
  • Identify additional preventive and mitigation measures to improve asset integrity and reduce operational risk.
  • Determine Integrity Management Plan reassessment intervals and assessment methods for assets.
  • Follow up on implementation of approved recommendations through site visits and field verification.
  • Ensure activities at various stages are carried out according to approved recommendations and integrity requirements.
  • Establish consistent integrity reporting formats and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve data interpretation challenges.
  • Collect feedback from discipline teams and use it to improve integrity reporting, workflows and information quality.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies involving new equipment and provide comments on integrity assurance feasibility, inspection access and maintainability.
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis for incidents, failures and integrity‑related events.
  • Participate in or facilitate audits as required by the Asset Integrity Framework.
  • Track audit action items and coordinate with concerned departments to ensure audit recommendations are completed and closed out.
  • Coordinate quarterly integrity reports for management and shareholders.
  • Gather data for weekly integrity reports and support accurate, timely management reporting.
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate assigned activities to meet section and department objectives.
  • Train and develop assigned staff on integrity procedures, IMS usage, reporting requirements and technical assurance practices.
  • Provide input for department or section budgets and support implementation of approved budgets and work plans.
  • Investigate and highlight budget variances to support performance monitoring and cost control.
  • Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in line with company and international standards.
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement by designing tools, improving workflows and applying best practices in asset integrity management.
  • Comply with HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, sustainability guidelines and ADNOC Code of Practices.
  • Provide MIS inputs, progress reports, technical updates, audit reports and integrity performance summaries for company management.
Ideal Profile
  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in asset integrity, facilities integrity, inspection, maintenance, engineering assurance or a related technical discipline.
  • Strong understanding of Integrity Management Systems, Integrity Management Plans, Asset Integrity Policy and asset assurance frameworks.
  • Experience coordinating integrity databases, IMS applications, reporting tools, data quality checks and technical documentation updates.
  • Knowledge of plant equipment integrity, facilities inspection, pipeline integrity, risk assessments, threat analysis and maintenance coordination.
  • Ability to coordinate with Integrity, Maintenance, Inspection, Operations, Engineering, Projects, consultants, service providers and government‑related stakeholders.
  • Experience reviewing integrity procedures, technical reference manuals, inspection recommendations, audit findings and overdue action items.
  • Ability to monitor technical integrity of plant equipment and to elevate critical recommendations, failures and overdue inspection items.
  • Experience supporting HAZOP studies, root‑cause analysis, audits, site verification visits and technical reporting.
  • Strong capability in preparing quarterly integrity reports, weekly integrity updates, MIS inputs and management presentations.
  • Good understanding of new equipment integrity requirements, inspection access, specification compliance and site readiness checks.
  • Strong analytical, coordination, documentation, reporting and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to supervise assigned activities, support staff development and improve integrity workflows.
