Job summary

ADNOC Group in Abu Dhabi Emirate seeks an Integrity Engineer - Asset Management Systems to maintain reliable integrity plans, procedures, data and assurance controls for its operational facilities. The role coordinates the Integrity Management System, monitors plans, and supports the Asset Integrity Policy and Framework.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering and at least six years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of facility or pipeline integrity, maintenance, inspection, and risk assessment.

Role Context

Asset integrity programs protect people, production, equipment, and the environment by identifying deterioration and unresolved risks before they cause failure. Effective management depends on accurate data, current procedures, timely inspection, disciplined follow-up, and coordination among engineering and operational teams. The Integrity Engineer will connect integrity, maintenance, inspection, and operations teams while maintaining a dependable technical record of facility condition. The role will help management prioritize corrective action, verify recommendation close-out, and make informed decisions about asset reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the implementation, maintenance, and effective use of Integrity Management System applications and databases.
  • Develop and update procedures covering IMS implementation, reporting, verification, and auditing.
  • Gather information from maintenance, inspection, and operations teams.
  • Perform data-quality checks before information is entered into the integrity database.
  • Coordinate the preparation, issue, and scheduled review of Integrity Management Plans for all facilities.
  • Monitor plan implementation and evaluate its effectiveness through verification and audit activities.
  • Confirm integrity requirements for new plants, equipment, structures, and facility modifications.
  • Verify that equipment complies with applicable specifications before dispatch to operational sites.
  • Inspect equipment and prepare technical reports covering integrity observations and recommendations.
  • Coordinate risk assessments and threat-analysis reviews for assigned pipeline segments.
  • Maintain current technical reference manuals and integrity procedures.
  • Monitor inspection-overdue items, critical outstanding recommendations, equipment failures, and other integrity concerns.
  • Notify the relevant Operating Authority about issues requiring urgent attention.
  • Identify integrity risks and coordinate their resolution through internal teams or external specialists.
  • Recommend additional preventive and mitigation measures for identified threats.
  • Establish suitable reassessment intervals and methods for different asset categories.
  • Conduct site visits to verify that approved recommendations have been implemented correctly.
  • Develop consistent integrity-reporting formats and resolve data-interpretation issues with other disciplines.
  • Participate in HAZOP studies involving new electrical equipment and assess future inspection accessibility.
  • Contribute to Root Cause Analysis investigations following equipment incidents or failures.
  • Participate in or facilitate audits conducted under the Asset Integrity Framework.
  • Track audit actions and coordinate the verified close-out of recommendations.
  • Prepare quarterly integrity reports for management and shareholders.
  • Coordinate data collection for weekly divisional integrity reports and KPI monitoring.
Ideal Profile

Applicants should hold a bachelor 's degree in an Engineering discipline and have at least six years of relevant professional experience. The successful candidate will understand facility or pipeline integrity, maintenance, inspection, risk assessment, technical assurance, and operational coordination. Practical experience using integrity-management databases or comparable engineering systems is important. Candidates should be capable of reviewing technical data, recognizing emerging integrity concerns, and following actions through to verified completion. Strong reporting, audit coordination, analytical judgement, and communication across different engineering disciplines are essential. Applicable professional certifications will provide an advantage.
