Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company seeks an experienced Asset Integrity Manager to lead the technical authority for facility integrity across offshore and onshore assets. You will guide design, construction, and operations, drive corrosion prevention, and monitor KPIs while coordinating with contractors to ensure best practices and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in a relevant engineering discipline with professional registration where applicable.
  • 8–12 years’ experience in asset integrity management, investigations, risk assessment and mitigation planning.
  • Strong knowledge of Asset Integrity Management sub-elements (PIMS, SIMS, corrosion, maintenance, inspection, well integrity).

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical authority for facility integrity during design, construction and operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Asset Integrity Management System, standards (ISO, API) and best practices.
  • Lead corrosion prevention, condition monitoring and maintenance planning across assets.

JOB PURPOSE:

A critical role in company's operations, particularly in ensuring the integrity and reliability of Company’s assets, including pipelines, structures, wellhead towers, equipment, and wells. Also, act as the Technical Authority, responsible forprovidingtechnical advice on Asset integrity thought out assets lifecycle; implementing technical standards guidelines, programs, policies, practices, and proceduresin accordance withAl Dhafra Petroleum Asset Integrity Management programs. Lead the efforts to challenge and improve existing assets design and assets integrity practices, with a view to enhancing assets integrity, reducing well cost, and improving asset life to achieveoptimumrisk mitigation, operational excellence and enhance asset performance. Additionally, this role involves in monitoring company asset integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) covering Asset Integrity Management Systems, corrosion management, maintenance, inspection, Well Integrity Management, Operating Integrity, and Process Safety, and preparing periodic Company integrity reports on the status of asset integrity, risk register, KPIs, and planned and outstanding. maintenance/inspection activities.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
  • Technical Authority for Facility Integrity, providing expert guidance and oversight during the design, construction, and operations stages of our assets.
  • Comply withassets Integrity Management System as per ADNOC Upstream Integrity Code and best, industrial standards (ISO, API and etc)
  • Participate in projects’ technical reviews and pre-startup safety reviews to ensure that AIMS requirements are included, and facilities are ready for operation.
  • Collaborate and provide technical support with cross-functional teams to integrate Facility Integrity considerations into the design, construction, and operation of offshore facilities.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with contractors and service providers to ensure compliance with Facility Integrity requirements, industry codes, and standards.
  • Monitor andanalyzecompany asset integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs),identifyingtrends andinitiatingappropriate actionsto improve performance.
  • Collaborate with service providers to ensure Company Asset Integrity KPIs are met.
    • Coordinates and implements all corrosion mitigation and condition monitoring programs within the approved budget to ensure the integrity of all the static equipment at work.
    • Ensures that all technical aspects related to corrosion & quality control management and integrity assessment are undertaken in conformance with company standards and / or industry codes of practice.
    • Ensures that all maintenance/ repair plans for all static equipment and pipelines are performedin accordance withindustry best practices, quality, and HSE standards.
    • Ensures updating the available data management systems with the inspection and corrosion findings of each equipment/facility and major problem areas are accurately andtimelylogged andidentified.
    • Review any MOC and/or dispensations to continue tooperateAssets that aredeemedlower risk withappropriate mitigations. Keep track of such assets under dispensation in various fields and prepare a combined KPI.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to contractors and service providers regarding Facility Integrity and Process Safety requirements.
  • Review reports related to integrity and track remedial actions to ensure all outstanding issues are captured in AIMS databases for mitigating solutions intimelymanner.
  • Communicate the analysis and trends of integrity threats to field involved parties and management.
  • Lead investigations into asset integrity incidents, perform root causeanalysisand implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Issues integrity reports to the "Asset Holder" on inspection and corrosion findings and recommendations of mitigation plan and follows-up thetimelyimplementation of mitigating actions and/or restoring the equipment conditions.
  • Ensures satisfactory implementation and evaluation of all chemical treatment programs formulated for internal corrosion control.
  • Oversight intelligent pipeline/facilities tool inspection analyses recorded data and recommends necessary inspection/repair programs.
  • Provides technical support to the respective operations department on Corrosion / quality control, Corrosion prevention measures, and inspection/ condition assessment aspects to ensure the fit-for-service condition of the respective assets.
  • Carries out technical investigationsregardingmetallurgical failures/ deterioration static equipment and pipelines.
  • Drive the implementation of the Annual Integrity Plan within the assigned asset and keep respective management informed of the progress status.
  • Participate in projects’ technical reviews and pre-startup safety reviews to ensure that AIMS requirements are included, and facilities are ready for operation.
  • Facilitate verification audits and failure investigations related to asset integrity, recommend remedial measures, and follow up on their implementation.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to align Facility Integrityobjectivesand best practices.
Asset Integrity Management
  • Manage the Asset integrity interfaces between all functions.
  • Act as a Technical Advisor for company Facility Integrity Management
  • Support an Asset Integrity Management Program in ALDhafraPetroleum Operating Company
  • Coordinate with Projects, Drilling and Site Operations to ensure wells barriers are appropriately designed, integrityestablishedand maintained during Assets full life cycle.
  • Ensure a routine Assets Integrity monitoring and analysis.
  • Lead projects related assets integrity management for existing assets and future project.
    • Ensureappropriate databeing collected and reviewed tomonitorand manage well potential flow assurance anomalies.
    • Lead required Assets Integrity anomaly investigation and Troubleshooting activities and ensureappropriate actionsand solution.
    • Ensureappropriate AssistsMaintenance and Surveillance works are planned and executed as per company requirements.
    • Ensureappropriate investigationinitiatedand lessons learns incorporated by vendors and contractors whenrequired.
    • Carry out studies addressing specific operational integrity problems as assigned from time to time and prepareappropriate recommendations / actionplan for immediate solution of such integrity problems.
    • Participate in HAZOP and Risk Assessment (RA) associated with well changes / problems that may have potential impact on integrity.
    • Incorporate lessons learned frompreviousexperience to the company wells and assets integrity management strategy for future and existing projects.
General Accountabilities
Field trips (Onshore) or site visits:
  • Conduct a site visit torepresentAlDhafra Production operations team whenrequired.
  • Conduct a site visit to audit/verify wells and assets integrity management compliance.
  • Conduct site visits to provide inputs for new development projects.
  • Attend vendor workshop forwitnessingactivities or conduct audits on company behalf.
Supervision
  • Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functionalobjectives.
  • Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective Departmentobjectives.
Budgets and Operational Plan
  • Provide input for preparation of the functional budgets andassistin the implementation of the approved Budget and work plans to deliver Departmentobjectives.
  • Investigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.

  • Support implementation of Department policies, processes, systems, standards, procedures and internal controls, Company guidelines to support execution of the Division's work programs in line with Company and International standards.

Management Information Systems (MIS) and Reports
  • Prepare periodic reports for Senior Management, providing updates on the status of asset issues, risk register, KPIs, and planned and outstanding maintenance/inspection activities for offshore and onshore assets.
  • Provide inputs to prepare Department MIS and progress reports for Company Management.

Internal
  • Reports directly to Manager, Operation
  • Communicate Al Dhafra Petroleum asset Integrity process safetyKPlsADNOC upstream,coordinate with ADNOC Onshore to ensure that production operational support is provided during facilities Intervention activities.
  • Provide inputs and recommendations for Projects teams in new field development projects.
  • Performs independent planning and prioritization of the own team's activities in co-ordination with contractors by ensuring the wells'optimumintegrity conditions and their availability for production / injection.
  • Performs dutiesin accordance withbroad direction, Company policies, procedures, and standards and Senior Management's directives.
  • Responsible to keep updating the line manager for work schedule and progress.
  • Daily contact with projects and engineering teammember. Regular contacts with Exploration & Development and Projects & Production teams.

  • Regular contacts with other ADP functions like Finance, Procurement, HSE, General Services, etc. for smoothprojectsinterface initiatives.

  • Regular contacts and coordination with ADP engineering contractors, PMCs and service companies for forecasting andmonitoringmechanical engineering requirements.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
  • Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8-12years’ experience of petroleum engineering activities related to Asset integrity management, investigation, and evaluation of integrity issues, risk assessment, risk ranking, and mitigation planning.
  • Strong understanding of Asset Integrity Management sub-elements (i.e.PIMS, SIMS, Corrosion Integrity,Maintenanceand Inspection, Well Integrity, and Operating Integrity) management processes.
  • Highly skilled (technically and professionally) with a thorough understanding of asset construction and completion design and demonstrable experience in maintenance/integrity philosophies and practices.
  • Good knowledge of Asset Integrity Management (offshore and Onshore structures) in a large oil/gas sector environment.
