ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) seeks an experienced Instrument & Control Technician to perform preventive, corrective, and troubleshooting maintenance on plant monitoring, control, and protective equipment in line with SOPs. The role involves participating in plant shutdowns, updating drawings, and upgrading control instruments as needed.

The candidate should have 4 years of oil and gas experience and hold a technical diploma or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications

4 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
Technical diploma or equivalent qualification in the relevant field.
Familiarity with SOPs and standards in maintenance work.

Responsibilities

Carry out routine preventive maintenance, repair and testing of equipment per SOPs and work orders.
Participate in plant shutdown activities and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Verify maintenance activities and complete the activity sheet.
Identify developing problems and report them promptly.
Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate and test various process control instruments and relay logic.
Perform preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure equipment reliability during operation and shutdowns.
Modify control elements/loops per plant change requests and update drawings accordingly.
Assist in upgrading/retrofitting control instruments and related panels as required.
