Responsibilities

• Prepare scopes of work for external engineering consultants and EPC contractors responsible for executing assigned jobs.
• Review engineering designs and studies prepared by consultants and verify compliance with applicable technical requirements and standards.
• Review and approve drawings, specifications and technical documents covering Instrumentation and Control design activities.
• Perform engineering calculations required for design validation and optimization.
• Promote the application of appropriate technologies throughout engineering activities to support cost-effective technical solutions.
• Apply value-added engineering principles throughout assigned works.
• Provide technical input for the development and updating of Engineering Procedures, company standards and Technical Specifications.
• Contribute to Design Philosophies and Engineering Guidelines covering relevant Instrumentation and Control requirements.
• Provide in-house technical authority and specialized engineering support for problem solving.
• Conduct technical authority reviews of vendor and supplier submissions.
• Review and determine acceptance of vendor or supplier deviation and non-compliance requests against company specifications and standards submitted through the project PMC.
