The Division of Engineering at NYU Abu Dhabi invites applications for an academic support position as a Civil Engineering (CE) instructor with the rank open depending on experience. Instructors support NYU Abu Dhabi's educational mission by assisting faculty, with the instructor sought for this position expected to have extensive knowledge in CE courses such as Solid Mechanics, Probability and Statistics, Structural Analysis, Transportation Engineering, Numerical Methods, Geotechnical Engineering, and Environmental Engineering. Instructors teach discussion sections, hold review sessions, provide assistance with course preparation, development, and assessment, and participate in departmental activities. Participation in professional development opportunities such as attending conferences is expected and supported. Opportunities for professional development are available.
