Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Inside Sales Engineer – Projects to deliver application engineering, technical support, and dedicated quotation services across the MEA region. You will work with the Flow Controls Sales Team to drive project pursuits, prepare competitive quotes, and provide solutions aligned with customer needs.

Responsibilities include sizing and pricing of control valves, supporting RFQs, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years in control valve industry.
• Fisher Junior Master – Red Belt or equivalent.
• Fisher Fieldvue Champion or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of control valve products and application engineering.
• Experience with quotation preparation and customer engagement.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Fluent English (written and verbal).

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated quotation support for MEA countries and KOB2 projects.
• Support RFQs and special application requirements.
• Size, select, and price control valves and severe service products.
• Provide solutions for obsolete/inactive products.
• Support customer-specific technical and commercial requirements.
• Ensure rapid turnaround of KOB3 RFQs.
• Coordinate Quote-to-Cash with internal teams for on-time delivery.
• Prepare accurate quotations for customers.
• Provide engineering, technical, and pricing support to customers and sales teams.
• Identify product gaps for future development.
• Participate in portfolio reviews and product roadmap discussions.
• Support Local Partners and End Users with capability presentations & reviews.
• Collaborate with Sales to support customer needs and growth.
• Follow up on quotations and orders to improve conversions.
• Coordinate with factories for timely delivery.
• Conduct technical presentations on Fisher products and solutions.
• Assist in updating engineering standards to drive Fisher preference.
• Prepare quotation reports, forecasts, and sales analysis.
• Support troubleshooting and site visits when required.
• Coordinate with PM, Order Entry, and COF for clean handovers.
• Ensure compliance with Emerson Ethics and Trade Compliance.
• Stay informed on industry trends and product updates.
