Job summary

Reportage, a leading real estate development company, seeks a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to monitor and oversee infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements, approved specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule.

The role involves daily site inspections, reviewing drawings and submittals, coordinating with contractors, and preparing reports to support timely project delivery while maintaining HSE practices and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Knowledge of infrastructure construction standards and specifications.
• Familiarity with quality control, inspection, and HSE requirements.
• Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site inspections for infrastructure works (roads, utilities, drainage, etc.).
• Monitor construction activities for compliance with drawings, specs, and safety.
• Review materials, workmanship, and construction methods on site.
• Prepare inspection reports and NCRs when required.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve issues.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and ensure quality standards.
• Maintain project records and progress reporting to Project Engineer/Manager.
• Attend site meetings and liaise with stakeholders.

We are a leading real estate development company, recognized for delivering exceptional projects globally and setting new benchmarks in the industry.

This candidate will be responsible for monitoring and overseeing infrastructure projects to ensure that contractors deliver the works according to the contract requirements, approved specifications, quality standards, budget, and schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily site inspections for infrastructure works including roads, utilities, drainage, sewerage, water supply, irrigation, and related works.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
• Review and verify materials, workmanship, and construction methods on site.
• Prepare inspection reports, site observations, and non-conformance reports (NCRs) when required.
• Coordinate with contractors and project teams to resolve technical and construction issues.
• Review method statements, material submittals, and shop drawings as applicable.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and report delays, risks, or concerns to the Project Engineer/Manager.
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project requirements.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, approvals, and project documentation.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure construction standards and specifications.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, inspection processes, and HSE requirements.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software such as AutoCAD is an advantage
