Job summary

GG Selection is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Floor Coating Business to oversee flooring projects from site surveys through surface preparation, application, and handover.

You will lead teams, coordinate materials and equipment, ensure quality, and comply with HSE standards for epoxy, polyurethane and resin flooring systems.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of industrial and commercial floor coatings and proven ability to manage timelines and client expectations on-site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing floor coating projects (industrial or commercial).
• Strong knowledge of concrete surface preparation and coating application systems.
• Familiarity with epoxy, polyurethane/urethane, polyaspartic coatings and similar resins.
• Good understanding of coating inspection, environmental controls, WFT/DFT, adhesion testing, curing, and common coating defects.
• Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, materials, equipment, schedules, and client requirements.
• Strong project planning, problem solving, communication, and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee floor coating projects from survey to handover.
• Conduct site surveys and assess substrates, moisture, hardness, contamination, and surface condition.
• Review project specs, drawings, manufacturer recommendations, and site requirements.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, schedules, and execution methods.
• Coordinate surface preparation activities such as grinding and shot blasting.
• Oversee application of epoxy, polyurethane/urethane, polyaspartic, and other coatings.
• Ensure CSP or project standards are met and monitor environmental conditions.
• Maintain project documentation, daily reports, and testing records.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams.
• Manage project completion, snagging, and client handover.
