Job summary

Cognite in Abu Dhabi seeks a Principal Field Engineer to lead the technical relationship with key clients, bridging between customers, sales, and product teams to drive mutual business value. You will guide technical strategy, architecture, and live deployments using Cognite Atlas AI and Cognite Data Fusion.

As a senior technologist, you will develop scalable, repeatable solutions, mentor other Field Engineers, and support workshops and client engagements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (7+ years) in solution architecture, field engineering, or technical presales roles, ideally in enterprise SaaS, cloud platforms, or industrial software.
• Experience in Python.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison to key clients, establishing trusted relationships and ensuring alignment on solutions, integration architectures, and technical roadmaps.
• Lead the design and implementation of first-of-their-kind industrial agents and AI-driven applications using Atlas AI and Cognite Data Fusion.
• Partner with Account Executives to prioritize strategic opportunities and lead the technical aspect of complex engagements.
• Develop scalable, repeatable solutions in collaboration with internal technical teams.
• Educate clients on Cognite Data Fusion and related offerings to support adoption and value realization.
