Job summary

Cognite UAE is seeking a Principal Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant for Oil & Gas to lead the technical relationship with key clients, drive AI-driven solution development, and bridge to Cognite Atlas AI and Data Fusion platforms. You will shape architectures, demos, and reference implementations.

Senior candidate with 7+ years in solution architecture or presales, preferably with energy sector exposure and Python expertise, will collaborate with sales and product teams globally.

Qualifications

• Extensive 7+ years in solution architecture, field engineering, or tech presales; SaaS, cloud, or industrial software.
• Experience in Python.
• Energy sector knowledge or engineering background preferred (e.g., petroleum, chemical, mechanical, control systems).

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical liaison to key clients, aligning on solutions and roadmaps, moving from strategy to live Cognite deployments.
• Develop demos, reference architectures, and solution accelerators used by Cognite teams and customers.
• Bridge between clients and Cognite product org, translating needs into clear requirements.
• Support sales teams with technical opportunity guidance, architecture, and use-case development.
• Mentor field engineers and share best practices for client engagement and solution development.
