Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small-group assistance to pupils throughout the school day.
• Help students participate fully in classroom lessons, specialist subjects and school activities.
• Implement individual education programmes aligned with each student's IEP goals.
• Monitor students' progress, attainment and engagement and report relevant observations to teachers.
• Support pupils with academic, physical, emotional, behavioural and communication needs.
• Prepare differentiated materials and learning resources that improve curriculum access.
• Deliver individual or group instruction under the guidance of the responsible teacher.
• Demonstrate instructional activities and reinforce concepts introduced during lessons.
• Monitor assigned work and provide corrections in accordance with school policies.
• Promote independence by teaching clear, practical and meaningful learning strategies.
• Mentor newly appointed Inclusion Assistants when requested and suitably experienced.
• Complete other reasonable duties assigned by the Principal or Head of Inclusion.

Role Context Seer Bani Yas Charter School delivers an American-based middle school curriculum covering English, Mathematics, Science, Humanities and Ministry of Education subjects. The Inclusion Assistant will provide individual and small-group support inside and outside the classroom. The role contributes to students' academic progress, independence, communication, behaviour and emotional wellbeing while supporting the school's inclusive learning objectives.

Key Responsibilities
