Job summary

Reed Recruitment Middle East is seeking a Retail Trainer to drive development plans for staff across UAE stores. The role focuses on coaching from Individual Development Plans, closing learning journeys and delivering on-floor training in customer service, selling skills, product knowledge and standards.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in retail with luxury exposure, a valid UAE driving license, and certifications in coaching and trainer accreditation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in retail with at least 2 on the shop floor in selling or supervision
• Credible knowledge in a luxury category
• Valid UAE driving license – mandatory
• Desirable CIPD Level 3, coaching certification and ILM Train-the-Trainer accreditation

Responsibilities

• Work from the Individual Development Plans (IDPs) of colleagues in assigned stores and use them to guide coaching.
• Close learning journeys by guiding each colleague through learn, practice, and evaluate steps; ensure actions are recorded.
• Deliver on-floor training in store on customer service, selling, product knowledge, systems and standards.
• Provide live coaching during trading hours, including evenings, weekends and peak times.
• Assess store managers' development progress and report feedback to the manager and department.
• Complete structured visit and observation reports for each store and close prior actions before new ones.
• Deliver on-floor onboarding and support new store openings and brand launches.
• One day a week at Head Office to consolidate reports, update platforms, and plan routes.
• Bring back actionable floor insights to inform content development.
